How to set a Pay Per Message fee on IWantClips
Pay Per Message, or PPM, lets you charge customers for eligible messages they send to you. It is separate from pay-to-view, where a customer pays to unlock media you send them.
Turn on the fee
Open the relevant Message Center Settings and find the Pay Per Message controls. Enable the feature, enter your fee, and save the setting.
The documented fee range is $0.25 to $10,000. Check the entered amount carefully before enabling it; a decimal error can create a very different customer experience.
Turning the setting off stops using that configured charging feature. Do not assume a later setting change automatically refunds earlier payments.
Allow specific customers to message free
Use the Free Message Fans list for the customers you want to exempt. Search for the eligible contact, add them, and review the saved list.
Removing a customer removes that exception. Use particular care with a remove-all action so you do not unintentionally change several customers' arrangements at once.
Understand related payment types
The platform's guidance includes an exception when a message tip meets or exceeds the configured message fee. Review the actual transaction rather than assuming every incoming message produces a separate fee in addition to any tip.
PTV purchases are a different feature and should be described separately in your offer. A fee for contacting you does not itself mean that every media file in the conversation has been purchased or unlocked.
