Choose OBS and RTMP settings for Chaturbate
Match your encoder output to your sustained upload capacity and computer performance. Increasing resolution or frame rate without enough capacity can make the live stream worse.
Suggested video bitrates
Chaturbate's encoder guidance lists these starting ranges:

These are encoder video rates, not the total upload speed you need. Leave capacity for audio, connection overhead, and normal fluctuations.
Set compatible output
Use H.264 video and AAC audio with constant bitrate, or CBR. Chaturbate recommends Main or High video profiles and a keyframe interval between two and five seconds.
Choose a supported frame rate your system can maintain. The encoder guidance supports 24–30 or 48–60 FPS for applicable resolutions, with 4K limited to 30 FPS. Its suggested audio rates increase from 96 Kbps at lower resolutions to 128 Kbps for 1080p and 192 Kbps for higher resolutions.
Use the current server information and stream key from your account. Older RTMP guides may list different endpoints; the default global automatic server avoids relying on a copied regional address.
Adjust based on the live result
If you see dropped frames, reduce bitrate and check the connection. If OBS reports encoding overload, reduce resolution or frame rate and review your encoder choice. Test one change at a time so you can identify what helped.
