Fix a camera that will not connect to Chaturbate

If Chaturbate cannot access your camera, check the device and capture path before changing stream quality or payout-related account settings.

Check the device

Make sure the camera is connected, powered on if necessary, and not blocked by a physical privacy switch. If it is an external camera or capture device, check the cable and connection.

Select the intended camera in the browser broadcaster or your encoder. A computer may list its built-in camera, an external webcam, and virtual cameras as separate devices.

Check access and conflicts

Allow camera access for Chaturbate in the browser and for that browser in the operating system's privacy settings. Close other applications that may already be using the device.

Reload the broadcast page after changing permissions. If needed, restart the browser or reconnect the camera, then select it again.

Separate camera capture from streaming

If the camera works in OBS but Chaturbate does not receive the picture, investigate the encoder's outgoing connection, server, and stream key. If OBS itself cannot show the camera, focus on its source configuration or device access first.

If the problem continues, contact support with the device model, browser or encoder, exact error, and whether the camera works in another application. Do not include your stream key in screenshots.
