Record a six-second SkyPrivate profile preview
A short camera preview helps visitors see your current presentation before contacting you. SkyPrivate's plugin records a six-second clip for this purpose.
Capture and post your preview
- 1.Open the plugin's preview prompt, or right-click the plugin and choose Record a preview.
- 2.Select the camera you want to use. Check the picture and remove personal information from the background.
- 3.Start recording and remain in frame for the full clip.
- 4.Watch the result. Choose New if you need another take, or Post video to submit it.
A phone camera connected through a compatible virtual-camera app can also appear in the recorder's camera selector, such as an Android phone camera on Windows or an iPhone camera on Mac.
Manage the published clip
You can remove a preview through Settings → Public profile → Video gallery, using the removal control on the relevant video.
Allow for content moderation after submitting a new clip. An upload or successful recording does not mean the video is already visible to visitors; SkyPrivate describes media checks as typically taking up to 24 business hours.
This short preview is different from longer profile-gallery videos and paid videos in the Store. Use the correct upload area for the result you want.
