How to verify your IWantPhone receiving number
Your receiving number is the phone number the platform uses to route calls to you. It must be verified through the phone settings before you rely on it for service.
Complete the phone-listing setup first, then open Phone Settings and find My Phone Numbers.
Add the number
Choose the option to add a phone number, select the appropriate country information, and enter the complete number as the form requests.
Check the number carefully before starting verification. Selecting a country in the interface does not fix a missing or duplicated dialing code entered elsewhere in the form.
Take the verification call
Use Call To Verify and follow the instructions for the four-digit verification code. Keep the receiving phone available and allow the call to complete.
An unverified entry is identified in the settings. Check that the number's status changes after successful verification rather than assuming that merely receiving a call completed the process.
Confirm which number receives calls
If more than one verified number is present, select the intended default receiving number. Review it after changing devices or replacing a number.
Verification confirms the platform's number setup; it does not set your public availability or prove that every future call will connect. Check the phone dashboard's status controls before advertising that you are ready to take calls.
If verification fails repeatedly, confirm the entered number and report the error to support rather than adding multiple duplicate entries.
