How to configure custom orders on IWantClips

Use your custom-clip settings to define the requests you offer and how the order form calculates their price. Start with a service you can describe and deliver consistently.

Set the base offer

Choose your per-minute price and the available clip lengths. If you offer length-based discounts, check the resulting total rather than assuming each extra minute uses the same rate.

Select the available resolution options accurately. A higher-priced resolution should match the file you can deliver; upscaling a lower-quality recording does not create more captured detail.

Price optional work

The settings support additional charges for options such as categories, using a customer's name, exclusivity, and other add-ons. Include only options you are willing and allowed to provide.

Keep the distinction between the base price and optional charges clear. A customer should be able to understand what the quoted total includes without negotiating a different arrangement after ordering.

Set realistic delivery choices

Configure the delivery options and any rush service around your actual schedule. A rush surcharge does not remove the need to agree on an achievable deadline.

Review the customer-facing form after changing settings. Check a short order, a longer order, and any extras you offer to make sure the total reflects your intention.

You can also use the custom-order widget to promote the form elsewhere. Pause new orders when you cannot meet the commitments shown on it.
