Create and manage IWantClips messaging lists
Messaging lists group existing contacts so you can send relevant messages without repeatedly selecting the same people. A list is not a public group chat.
Create a list
- 1.Open Message Center and choose Create New List in the messaging-list area.
- 2.Enter a unique list name.
- 3.Search or browse your existing contacts.
- 4.Move the intended people into the selected-fans list.
- 5.Review the selection and choose Create.
The documented limit is 1,000 fans per list, with at least one fan required to create it.
Use names that help you understand the audience. Keep the actual content relevant rather than assuming a previous purchase means someone wants every future offer.
Edit, message, or delete
Use the pencil control beside a list to change its title or members and save. The edit page also provides the delete-list control.
Use the list's message control, or select the list as a recipient while composing. Recipients receive individual messages; this does not place them together in a shared conversation.
Review the audience before sending or scheduling. Removing a fan from a list is different from blocking them or deleting their contact record.
