Set up OBS to broadcast on Chaturbate
OBS sends your camera, microphone, and chosen scene to Chaturbate through an external encoder connection. Your stream key connects that output to your account, so treat it as a secret.
Connect your account
- 1.Open Broadcast Yourself while signed in.
- 2.Select Use External Encoder or the option to view RTMP/OBS information.
- 3.In OBS, open Settings → Stream and select Chaturbate when available.
- 4.Use the default global automatic server and paste the stream key from your account.
- 5.Apply the settings.
If the key has been exposed, generate a new token through Chaturbate. Updating it invalidates the old key, so replace it in your encoder too.
Build and test the scene
Add your webcam through Sources → + → Video Capture Device. Select the intended camera and check its framing. Choose your microphone in OBS and confirm that its meter responds to your voice.
For a starting configuration, Chaturbate's OBS guide suggests 1280 × 720, 30 FPS, and 3,000 Kbps video bitrate. Adjust downward if the stream is unstable. More pixels require more sustained upload capacity and encoding power.
Start streaming in OBS, then confirm the feed reaches Chaturbate. Check sound as well as the preview image.
End the broadcast
Use Stop Streaming in OBS. Closing Chaturbate's tab or logging out does not necessarily stop the encoder; it may continue sending a live broadcast.
