Use Chaturbate's unified Messages inbox

Chaturbate combined private messages and direct messages into Messages on October 14, 2026. Use the current inbox rather than following older instructions that treat PMs and DMs as separate systems.

Open a conversation

Select the chat-bubble control or open Messages. On mobile, use the Messages icon in the lower navigation.

Use search to find a username or conversation. The available filters include In Session, All, Unread, Tipped, Following, and Followers, helping you separate active conversations from other messages.

Messaging access depends on the account's permissions and relationship to the room. Do not assume every viewer can start a conversation under the same conditions or that every message is a paid service.

Manage messages safely

Check the relevant filter if a conversation seems missing. Chaturbate also filters spam and applies its Trust & Safety protections to Messages.

Your room's custom chat-filter settings are separate from these platform protections. Turning down a custom filter does not turn off Chaturbate's safety rules.

Keep account passwords, stream keys, and personal identifying details out of conversations. A message claiming that tokens were sent is not a substitute for a genuine token transaction in your account.
