Broadcast on CAM4 from an iPhone or iPad
CAM4 documents an iOS broadcasting route through Safari. It is different from the Android C4 app.
Prepare and start the show
- 1.Open the official CAM4 website in a current Safari version and sign in.
- 2.Open the menu and choose Broadcast.
- 3.Allow the camera and microphone access requested by the site.
- 4.Check the preview and choose the intended camera.
- 5.Enter the status, tip message, and goal you want to use, then save them.
- 6.Select Start Broadcast when ready.
Use current supported software rather than treating the older iOS 11 reference in the help page as a recommendation to keep using an obsolete system.
Manage the live session
The interface shows chat, viewer count, received tokens, and the stop-broadcast control. Private requests can be accepted, declined, or temporarily docked through the available request controls.
Check private-show settings before accepting. Do not assume that features documented for a desktop browser or Android app are identical on iOS.
If the site requests camera or microphone permission again, check Safari's site permissions and your device settings. Confirm that the broadcast has stopped before leaving the phone or switching away from the show.
