Access the C4 app through Windows Phone Link

On compatible devices, Microsoft's Phone Link can display and control Android apps from your Windows computer. The C4 app still runs on the phone; mirroring does not turn it into a native Windows app.

Check compatibility first

Microsoft's current Apps setup guide limits this feature to supported devices with the required Android version and preinstalled Link to Windows. A phone's ability to sync messages does not prove that app mirroring is supported.

Connect the devices

Open Phone Link on Windows and Link to Windows on the supported phone. Follow the official pairing instructions with the intended Microsoft account and connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network.

Once linked, open Apps in Phone Link and select the installed C4 app. Check that its controls and camera behavior work before relying on it for a show.

Use a trusted computer because the connection can expose phone information permitted during setup.

For a separate phone-camera/computer-room workflow, use CAM4's documented external-encoder mode. That route and screen mirroring solve different tasks.
