Use the C4 app to broadcast from Android

Use CAM4's official app information to obtain the supported C4 broadcasting app. Check current device requirements rather than relying on an old minimum Android version.

Prepare the picture and controls

Sign in, choose the intended camera, and check the preview. The app provides controls for front/rear camera selection and portrait/landscape orientation. Some masks, filters, and microphone options depend on the phone.

Swipe from the right edge to review additional settings, including microphone and private-show controls where available. Open the main app menu to access account tools and support.

When ready, use the broadcast control and confirm the live state. Use the same broadcast control to end the show and check that the status returns to offline.

Follow the room during the show

The interface displays received tokens and the current viewer count. You can open the viewer list or leaderboard from their controls and switch between public and private conversations.

Long-pressing a message opens available moderation actions. App guides disagree about assigning moderators, so use the browser room's documented assignment workflow if the app does not offer it.

Recording, token goals, and private-show requests in the Android app are separate controls. Check the relevant settings before accepting an offer or recording a clip.
