Lovense Toy Not Responding to Tips: What to Check
If your Lovense toy isn't reacting when viewers tip, the problem can usually be narrowed down by checking the connection and tip configuration separately.
Work through the checks below before rebuilding your entire setup.
1. Check that your toy is connected
Open Toy Status in your Lovense setup.
Make sure the correct toy appears as connected.
If you're connecting through Lovense Connect on your phone, check that:
- Your toy is switched on.
- Bluetooth is enabled.
- The toy is paired in Lovense Connect.
- Lovense Connect is still running.
- Your phone remains connected correctly to the Cam Extension.
If the toy itself isn't connected, changing your tip rules won't fix the problem.
2. Check your Basic Levels
Open Basic Levels for the cam site you're using.
Make sure the tip amount you're testing is actually covered by one of your configured levels.
Also check:
- The correct toy is selected.
- A reaction time is configured.
- A vibration intensity is selected.
- Your settings have been saved.
Basic Levels control the toy, duration and intensity associated with qualifying tips.
3. Check for conflicting Special Commands
If you've configured Special Commands, check whether one uses the same tip amount as a Basic Level.
When the same amount is assigned to both, Lovense gives the Special Command priority.
That can make it appear that your Basic Level isn't working when Lovense is actually following the Special Command instead.
4. Make sure you're configuring the correct cam site
Lovense settings can be configured for individual webcam platforms.
If you work across several sites, make sure you're editing the settings for the platform where you're currently testing.
5. Send a test tip
Use Lovense's test-tip functionality.
If the toy responds correctly to a test tip but doesn't respond to a real viewer tip, that suggests the toy itself is connected and the issue may instead involve the cam-site integration or current broadcast.
If the test tip also fails, concentrate on the toy connection and Lovense configuration first.
6. Restart the connection
If everything appears correct but the toy still doesn't respond:
- 1.Disconnect the toy.
- 2.Close and reopen the relevant Lovense software.
- 3.Reconnect the toy.
- 4.Confirm it appears in Toy Status.
- 5.Send another test tip.
For Cam Extension setups, Lovense supports connections through Lovense Connect on mobile or through compatible computer connection methods.
7. Check your software is up to date
If you're using an old version of the Lovense Cam Extension, Stream Master or related Lovense software, update it before spending an afternoon dismantling settings that were perfectly correct.
Lovense specifically advises using the latest Cam Extension for features such as Vibe With Me.
The toy works, but Video Feedback doesn't
That's a different problem.
If your toy responds correctly but the visual information doesn't appear in OBS, check your Video Feedback setup instead.
With OBS, Lovense Video Feedback must be above your other sources in the Sources list.
