How to Set Up Tip-Activated Lovense Toys

One of Lovense's main camming features allows viewer tips to automatically trigger your connected toy.

You can decide how many tokens are required, how long your toy reacts and the intensity used for different tip amounts.

Lovense calls these settings Basic Levels.

Before setting up tip activation

Make sure:

  • Your Lovense toy is connected.
  • The Lovense Cam Extension is installed and running.
  • You've added the webcam platform you want to use.
  • Your toy appears as connected in Toy Status.

Once that's done, you can configure your tip levels.

Step 1: Select your webcam platform

Open the Lovense Cam Extension and select the cam site you want to configure.

If you haven't added it yet, use the option to add a cam site.

You can either configure the site manually or, where available, copy settings you've already created for another site.

Step 2: Create your Basic Levels

Open Basic Levels.

Lovense currently allows you to create up to 15 levels.

For each level, choose:

  • The toy or toys that should respond
  • The number of tokens required
  • The reaction time
  • The vibration intensity

Lovense currently provides four vibration intensity options within Basic Levels: low, medium, high and ultra-high.

Step 3: Choose your reaction time

Reaction Time determines how many seconds your toy reacts after receiving a qualifying tip.

You can therefore make different tip levels produce different durations.

Step 4: Save your settings

Once you've finished configuring your Basic Levels, save them for the current cam site.

If you use several cam sites, check the settings for each one rather than assuming they're identical.

Step 5: Send a test tip

Before starting your show, send a test tip using an amount covered by one of your Basic Levels.

Check that:

  • The correct toy reacts.
  • The intensity is correct.
  • The reaction lasts for the expected amount of time.

If the test works, your basic tip-activated setup is ready.

Can I create more advanced tip actions?

Yes.

Lovense also provides Special Commands, which allow specific tip amounts to trigger actions beyond ordinary Basic Levels.

For example, Lovense currently offers commands that can pause or clear the vibration queue, trigger a random Basic Level, or activate predefined vibration patterns.

It's best to avoid using the same tip amount for a Basic Level and a Special Command. If they overlap, Lovense states that the Special Command takes priority for that amount.
