How to Use the Stripchat Word Filter

Stripchat's word filter lets you automatically hide particular words and phrases from your public chat.

It can be useful when you want to keep certain language out of your room without individually muting every viewer who uses it.

How does the word filter work?

Go to Settings and Privacy and enable the word filter.

You can add up to 20 unwanted words or phrases.

When a public chat message contains one of your filtered terms, Stripchat hides that message from the public chat for everyone except the person who wrote it.

Does the word filter ban the viewer?

No.

The filter affects the message rather than the viewer's account.

If a particular person is repeatedly causing problems, you can instead use Stripchat's Mute or Ban controls.
