How Do Friends and Private Messages Work on Stripchat?
Stripchat's messaging system lets models stay in contact with viewers outside their public chat room.
The Friends feature helps you control who can privately message you, while additional messaging tools make important conversations easier to manage.
Who can send me private messages?
Your Friends can send you private messages.
Stripchat's Ultimate users can also privately message models.
You can accept or decline Friend requests rather than allowing every viewer unrestricted access to your private messages.
Can I send a Friend request to a viewer?
Stripchat allows models to send Friend requests in certain circumstances, including to users who have:
- Added you to Favorites
- Previously interacted with you
- Been present in your room
The exact options available can depend on the viewer's account and previous interaction with you.
You can manage your connections through My Friends.
What are message bookmarks?
Bookmarks let you save important conversations so they're easier to return to later.
This can be useful for regular viewers or conversations you don't want disappearing among newer messages.
What is the With Tokens section?
The With Tokens section helps separate conversations involving users who have tokens from the rest of your messages.
It can make it easier to identify potentially valuable conversations without manually searching through your entire inbox.
Can I send paid content through messages?
Yes. Stripchat also supports paid photos and videos through its messaging system.
Paid messaging is separate from the Friends system, so you can use private messages both for maintaining viewer relationships and generating additional earnings.
