How to Ban, Mute and Unban Users on Stripchat

Stripchat gives models several tools for dealing with spam, harassment, offensive behavior or users you simply don't want interacting in your room.

You can mute a user or ban them from your room.

How to mute or ban someone in your room

While broadcasting, hover over the user's username in your public chat or user list.

You'll see options to Mute or Ban the user.

If you ban someone, Stripchat lets you choose how long the ban should last:

  • 24 hours
  • 30 days
  • Forever

You'll also be asked to select a reason for the ban.

When a user is banned, their previous tips and comments are removed from your room's chat.

Can I ban someone who isn't currently in my room?

Yes.

You can also ban users from other areas of Stripchat, including Messages.

Open the conversation, select the three-dot menu beside the user's name and choose Ban User.

Stripchat also provides ban options from areas including All Chats and the Earnings page.

How to unban or unmute someone

Open Banned & Muted Users from your account menu.

Select Edit, choose the user you want to remove from the list and then remove them.

You can also unban users from some of the same areas where the original ban was applied.

Can I control who is allowed to chat?

Yes. Stripchat also lets you restrict who can participate in your public chat.

Go to My Show Controls > Who can chat.

You can restrict chat to groups such as registered users with verified email addresses or users who have purchased tokens or subscriptions.

This can reduce unwanted messages, although restricting chat too heavily may also reduce activity in your room.
