Upload files to IWantClips with SFTP
SFTP is useful for multiple files or uploads that are difficult through the browser. Transferring the file does not publish a completed store listing.
Connect with your own credentials
- 1.Open Sell Items and the SFTP information panel.
- 2.Install an SFTP client from its official publisher; the guide uses the free FileZilla client.
- 3.Enter the host, username, and password supplied for your account.
- 4.Use SFTP, with the documented port 2022, unless the current account panel specifies otherwise.
- 5.Connect and transfer the intended files, checking that each upload finishes.
SFTP uses SSH host-key verification. Do not blindly approve an unexpected identity warning. Confirm the server details through official support if the key or destination is unfamiliar.
Create the listing afterward
Return to Sell Items, create the appropriate item, and use Choose FTP File to select the uploaded file. Complete the title, description, price, and other listing details before submitting it.
The staging area has a storage limit, and files are automatically removed after 90 days. Keep your own backups; this is not permanent cloud storage.
A transfer larger than the browser limit still needs to meet account and content requirements. SFTP is not an exemption from those checks.
