Avoid fake tips and payment promises on Chaturbate

Before providing something in exchange for tokens, confirm the payment in Chaturbate's own records. Chat text can look convincing without transferring any tokens.

Common warning signs

Be cautious when someone posts a tip-like message, uses an image that resembles a payment notice, or claims that a balance will update after you perform a request. Check the genuine notification and account activity instead.

A promise to send a large tip later is not payment. Neither is a screenshot supplied by the viewer.

Password shows need an actual payment arrangement

A password protects room access; it does not automatically charge the person entering. If you arrange a token price for access, confirm the real tip before giving out the password.

Do not share login credentials or stream keys with someone who says they need them to activate a payment, fix a tip, or verify your earnings.

If something seems wrong

Pause the arrangement and review the account's token activity. Preserve the relevant username and messages, and report suspected fraud through Chaturbate's support or reporting controls.

You can refuse a request that crosses your boundaries even when it includes a payment offer. No tip authorizes a platform-rule violation.
