Set up ChaturSafe for your Chaturbate room
ChaturSafe gives creators controls for filtering public chat. These preferences sit alongside Chaturbate's mandatory Trust & Safety protections, which creators cannot disable.
Choose your room filters
Open the chat gear settings and find ChaturSafe. Select a strictness level—Low, Medium, High, or Custom—using the options available to your account.
Open Advanced filter settings to adjust categories such as politics, religion, hostile language, sensitive topics, and violent threats. Set them according to the conversation you want to allow in your room.
Review blocked messages
A ChaturSafe badge indicates filtering activity. Open the Blocked message log to review decisions and provide feedback where offered.
The Trusted Viewers list can exempt selected usernames from your custom filtering preferences. It does not exempt them from platform rules or mandatory safety checks.
Understand the scope
Chaturbate's ChaturSafe guide describes these customizable controls as applying to public chat. Do not assume your public-room configuration governs every message type.
The newer Messages guide confirms platform Trust & Safety filtering also applies to Messages. Reducing a room's custom strictness does not switch off that protection or permit prohibited content.
