Understand what a studio may manage on CAM4

A studio is a business that supports or manages broadcasters. Its services can include equipment, a workspace, technical help, training, account administration, or promotion.

Those services depend on the actual arrangement. The word “studio” does not guarantee a particular workplace, payment rate, or level of support.

Clarify your responsibilities

Before joining, understand:

  • Who controls the account and verification process.
  • What support or equipment is included.
  • How earnings, charges, statements, and payments are handled.
  • How to resolve an account issue or leave the arrangement.

CAM4 says studios are responsible for ensuring their models follow platform rules. You still need to understand and follow the rules that apply to your own performance.

Keep payment information distinct

The platform's native payout options describe how eligible independent accounts receive money. They do not automatically describe how a studio pays an individual creator.

If you work through FLASH, follow the CAM4 connection process and use FLASH's stated services, agreement, and payment process rather than assuming every studio offers the same terms.

This guide explains the creator's relationship to a studio. Studio-owner registration documents and administrative setup are separate workflows.
