Choose and protect your CAM4 password

Use a password that is unique to CAM4 and difficult to guess. Avoid names, birthdays, common passwords, or a minor variation of a password you already use elsewhere.

Follow the current account form

CAM4's older password articles conflict about special characters. Use the requirements shown by the actual signup, reset, or change-password form rather than assuming either old instruction applies universally.

Use a long password within the accepted limits and include the character types the form requires. A short published minimum is not a recommendation to choose the shortest possible password.

Keep access under your control

Do not disclose the password to a viewer or moderator. A legitimate moderation assignment does not require your login.

On shared devices, avoid leaving saved logins accessible to other users. If you use a password manager, protect its access and the device itself rather than keeping an unprotected password list.

Add CAM4's available SMS security check and keep recovery information current. If a message asks you to confirm a password to release a payment, open the official site independently and verify the request through support.
