Add an image to your CAM4 profile bio

Use the custom-profile editor when you want an image inside your bio rather than a separate photo-gallery upload.

Insert the image

  1. 1.Open My Account → Customize Profile.
  2. 2.Find the Custom HTML section and choose the image-insert control.
  3. 3.Paste the intended image URL and select Insert.
  4. 4.Adjust the width and height if needed.
  5. 5.Save the profile changes and check the public result.

Use a direct image address that the editor can access, not merely the address of a page containing the image.

Use a supported host

CAM4's guide lists cam4.com, Flickr, Photobucket, Imgur, ImageShack, Facebook, Postimage, Twitter, and Instagram as allowed hosts. An allowed host does not mean every URL from that service is a usable direct image link.

If the image fails, check the host, URL, and sharing permissions before repeatedly adding the same link.

Only publish images you have rights to use. Hosting through a personal social account can expose a connection you intended to keep private, so check where a visitor is taken if they open the link.
