Record and upload videos in the C4 app

The C4 broadcasting app includes a recording control for capturing part of your own show. Recording and live broadcasting are separate actions.

Capture a clip

Use the Record control during the broadcast. Start and stop recording when you want the clip to begin and end; this does not mean the live show itself has stopped.

After recording, choose whether to save or discard the video. CAM4's app guide says saved recordings are stored in the phone's gallery.

Review the file before sharing or uploading it. Check participant approval, consent, content rules, and anything private visible in the background.

Upload through the appropriate route

The documented in-app My Shop uploader has a 100 MB file-size limit. For a larger file, CAM4 directs creators to the device browser or a computer upload route instead.

That is an in-app upload limit, not a statement that every CAM4 upload area has the same maximum.

After submission, review approval status and edit the listing details through My Shop management. Saving a clip on your phone does not automatically publish it, price it, or approve it for sale.
