Set up automatic chat messages on CAM4
CAM4's native ChatBots handle welcome messages, tip responses, and rotating room notifications during public and private shows. They are separate from Lovense's extension notifications.
Open Chatbot beneath the broadcast video, choose the bot you want to configure, enter the message, and save. Use its enable or disable control to change whether it runs.
Personalize a message
The placeholder {user} inserts the receiving viewer's username. For example, Good to see you, {user}. Please read the room rules. uses the viewer's name without a separate manually written message.
Understand the delivery rules
- Welcome: delivered after a five-second delay, at most once per two hours for the same user. It is visible to that recipient rather than every person in public chat.
- Tip response: supports up to six thresholds. A threshold covers a range, not only one exact amount. The same viewer receives that threshold's response no more than once in five minutes.
- Auto-notification: supports up to six messages in sequence, with five minutes between attempts and at least three viewer chat lines between messages.
If the room-activity requirement is not met, auto-notifications wait and check again rather than skipping ahead.
Keep repeated messages concise and accurate. Do not make automated notices promise an offer you have stopped providing or use them to advertise prohibited payment methods. If a tip response appears not to match the transaction, check the actual tips and earnings record rather than relying on the automated message.
