Understand CAM4 tips and creator token earnings
CAM4 uses tokens for tips, gifts, private shows, and other paid features. Broadcasters can review tipping history and earnings through the Broadcaster Dashboard.
Understand the creator value
CAM4's creator guides state $0.10 per earned token, so 100 earned tokens correspond to $10 before any applicable payment costs or separate studio arrangement.
That is not a claim that viewers buy every token at ten cents. Viewer packages and purchase fees have their own pricing.
If FLASH or a studio manages your payments, use that agreement to understand what you receive rather than treating the platform token value as your guaranteed take-home amount.
Verify the actual tip
Check the platform's actual received-token or earnings record. A chat message, sound, screenshot, or promise from a viewer is not sufficient confirmation by itself.
Tip sounds differ by amount, but the sound is not a complete transaction record. Use the recorded amount when checking a goal, game, or agreed offer.
A tip also does not require you to accept an unwanted request or violate CAM4's rules. Explain prices and boundaries clearly, and ask support about suspicious transactions rather than returning money through an outside service.
