Can You Block Someone From Calling Through DirectChat?

AdultWork's published guidance says individual members cannot be blocked from calling you through DirectChat.

An email or booking block therefore should not be treated as a DirectChat caller block. Likewise, displaying a phone number does not give AdultWork control over everyone who calls that number directly.

An alternative to consider

AdultWork suggests pre-booked Phone Chat if you need to control who can submit bookings. Its Blocked Senders controls can restrict emails and booking requests.

Review which phone service you offer and what contact information is visible before changing your setup. Disabling pre-booked calls while leaving DirectChat on does not solve the individual-caller limitation.

If someone is abusive or makes prohibited requests, report the behavior through the platform's support or reporting process. Do not assume the absence of a caller-block feature means the conduct is permitted.
