Why AdultWork DirectChat Calls Will Not Connect

Check the receiving number and service settings before testing repeated calls.

Review the setup

  • Enable Phone Chat and DirectChat.
  • Enter the receiving number in international format: a UK 07712 number begins 447712, not 4407712.
  • Show as Available Now and ensure the phone is not busy.
  • Answer within the published 30-second window.

AdultWork says premium-rate, personal, and 0870 numbers cannot be used as the DirectChat destination. Public display of a forwarding number is a separate feature.

Check the caller's side

The caller needs credits for at least five minutes at your rate. At 1.2 credits per minute, that is six credits.

Self-calls do not connect when the system identifies the same account as payer and recipient. The source also restricts testing involving group or shared-login connections.

If genuine unrelated callers still cannot get through, contact support with the time, receiving-number format, and exact failure.
