How to Keep Your Phone Number Private on AdultWork

AdultWork describes two approaches when you do not want clients to receive your personal phone number.

Use DirectChat

DirectChat routes calls through the platform to your nominated number without giving that number to the caller. You still need to configure the service and availability correctly.

This routing protection does not mean individual DirectChat callers can be blocked; AdultWork's separate guidance says they cannot.

Call a pre-booked client yourself

For pre-booked Phone Chat, leaving Phone Chat Number empty means the booking requester must supply a number for you to call. AdultWork also suggests withholding outgoing caller ID.

Check your phone provider's caller-ID settings before relying on withholding. Do not assume an empty site field hides a number that is published elsewhere on your profile.

Choose the method that suits your privacy needs and explain the agreed call arrangement before a booked session.
