Can You Display a Forwarding Phone Number on AdultWork?

AdultWork's guidance allows a forwarding number that routes calls to your mobile while keeping the real mobile number out of public view.

Use the designated field

Enter the forwarding number in Phone Chat Number and enable Show Phone Chat Number, rather than entering it in the standard Mobile Number field.

Check any relevant contact-display subscription and review what visitors can see after saving.

Display and DirectChat are different

Permission to display a forwarding number does not prove it can be used as the receiving destination for DirectChat. The DirectChat troubleshooting guidance restricts some number types.

Check the forwarding provider's charges and whether it reveals your underlying number before relying on it for privacy. Do not put contact details in general profile text or media as a workaround for a restricted display field.
