Lovense Video Feedback Not Showing: What to Check
If your Lovense toy reacts correctly to tips but Video Feedback doesn't appear on your stream, the problem is probably with your video-feedback setup rather than the toy connection itself.
Work through these checks before changing your Basic Levels or reconnecting a toy that's already working.
1. Check that Lovense Video Feedback has been added
If you're using OBS Studio, open your current scene and check the Sources list.
You should have Lovense Video Feedback added as a source alongside your normal camera and other stream elements.
If it isn't there, add it before continuing.
2. Move Lovense Video Feedback above your other sources
This is one of the most important checks.
In OBS, Lovense Video Feedback should be positioned above your other relevant sources.
OBS displays sources according to their order. If another full-screen source sits above your Lovense feedback, it can hide it.
Lovense specifically instructs users to place its Video Feedback source above the other sources.
3. Check the Lovense OBS Toolset
If you're using OBS with the Lovense Cam Extension, make sure the Lovense OBS Toolset is installed.
OBS itself and the Lovense OBS Toolset are separate pieces of software.
Having OBS installed doesn't automatically give it access to Lovense Video Feedback.
4. Reconnect the Cam Extension to OBS
Keep OBS Studio open.
Then:
- 1.Open the Lovense Cam Extension.
- 2.Select the cam site you're using.
- 3.Open Video Feedback.
- 4.Connect to the Lovense OBS Toolset again.
Check that the connection completes successfully.
5. Send a test tip
Once connected, send a test tip.
Watch your OBS preview rather than only checking whether your toy reacts.
If the toy reacts but nothing appears visually, you've successfully narrowed the problem down to Video Feedback rather than your basic Lovense connection.
6. Check the feature you're testing
Some Lovense features have their own visual-feedback settings.
If you're testing an interactive app or game, make sure its relevant Video Feedback or animation option is enabled.
A working Lovense Video Feedback source doesn't necessarily mean every optional animation has also been switched on.
7. Restart OBS and the Lovense connection
If everything appears correctly configured:
- 1.Close OBS.
- 2.Close the relevant Lovense software.
- 3.Reopen your Lovense software.
- 4.Reconnect your toy.
- 5.Open OBS.
- 6.Reconnect Video Feedback.
- 7.Send another test tip.
The Video Feedback works, but my toy doesn't react
That's the opposite problem.
If the visual feedback appears correctly but the toy doesn't react, check Toy Status, your Basic Levels and the selected toy instead.
Separating visual-feedback problems from toy-response problems makes troubleshooting considerably easier than repeatedly reinstalling software until something takes pity on you.
