How to Install the Lovense OBS Toolset

The Lovense OBS Toolset connects Lovense's camming features with OBS Studio, allowing interactive features such as Lovense Video Feedback to appear in your broadcast.

This is different from installing OBS itself. You need OBS Studio installed before adding the Lovense OBS Toolset.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

  • OBS Studio installed
  • The Lovense Cam Extension installed and configured
  • Your Lovense toy connected if you want to test interactive features

Lovense currently requires OBS Studio 22.0.0 or later for its OBS Toolset.

Step 1: Download the Lovense OBS Toolset

Download the version of the Lovense OBS Toolset that matches your operating system.

If you're using Windows, make sure you select the correct version for your system.

Step 2: Install the Toolset

Open the downloaded installer and complete the installation.

If additional Microsoft Visual C++ components are required on Windows, follow the installation prompt before continuing.

Step 3: Open OBS Studio

Launch OBS Studio.

In your scene, add your normal webcam as a Video Capture Device.

Then add Lovense Video Feedback as another source.

Step 4: Position Lovense Video Feedback correctly

Move Lovense Video Feedback above your other sources in the OBS Sources list.

This is important. Lovense states that Video Feedback must be above the other sources or it may not display correctly.

Step 5: Connect the Cam Extension

Keep OBS Studio open.

Then:

  1. 1.Open the Lovense Cam Extension.
  2. 2.Select your cam site.
  3. 3.Open Video Feedback.
  4. 4.Select Connect to Lovense OBS Toolset.

Once connected, your Lovense Basic Levels and Special Commands should be reflected in OBS.

What can I do after installing the OBS Toolset?

You can use the Toolset as part of your Lovense setup to display interactive feedback during your broadcasts.

You can also use it with supported Lovense hardware and features, including the Lovense Webcam.
