How to Set Up Lovense for Camming
Lovense allows viewers to interact with compatible toys during your webcam shows. When configured correctly, tips received on supported cam sites can automatically trigger your connected Lovense toy.
There are several ways to use Lovense while camming. This guide explains the basic setup and what you'll need to get started.
What do I need to use Lovense while camming?
You'll generally need:
- A compatible Lovense toy
- A supported computer or mobile device
- A Lovense connection method
- The Lovense Cam Extension or another supported Lovense camming solution
- An account on a supported webcam platform
Lovense currently provides several camming tools, including the Lovense Cam Extension and Stream Master.
Step 1: Connect your Lovense toy
Your toy must first be connected so Lovense's camming software can communicate with it.
One option is to use the Lovense Connect app on a compatible mobile device.
You can also connect through a computer using Lovense Connect and a compatible Lovense USB Bluetooth Adapter where required.
Do not confuse Lovense Connect with the regular Lovense Remote app. Lovense states that its Cam Extension setup requires Lovense Connect for this connection method.
Step 2: Install the Lovense Cam Extension
The Cam Extension connects supported webcam sites with your Lovense setup.
Lovense currently provides the extension for Chrome and Edge. Once installed, you can add the cam sites you use and configure how your toy responds to tips.
Step 3: Add your webcam platform
Open the Lovense Cam Extension and add the webcam platform you want to use.
You can then configure settings for that particular platform.
If you work across multiple supported cam sites, you can add additional sites and configure them separately.
Step 4: Set up your tip levels
Lovense's Basic Levels determine what happens when someone tips you.
For each level, you can configure:
- The required tip amount
- Which connected toy or toys respond
- How long the reaction lasts
- The vibration intensity
Lovense currently allows up to 15 Basic Levels.
Once you've created your levels, save the settings for the cam site you're using.
Step 5: Test your setup
Before starting a full show, use the available test functionality to make sure your toy reacts correctly.
Test a tip amount included within the levels you've configured and check that the correct toy responds with the expected intensity and duration.
Doing this before broadcasting can save you from discovering halfway through a show that something isn't connected properly. A thrilling technological tradition.
Can I use Lovense with OBS?
Yes. Lovense provides an OBS Toolset for models who use OBS Studio.
Lovense recommends installing OBS Studio before installing its OBS Toolset.

Can I use Lovense on multiple cam sites?
Lovense supports multiple webcam platforms, and you can add supported sites through its camming software.
