Can You Use Prerecorded Video on Stripchat?

No. Stripchat prohibits using prerecorded content as if it were a live broadcast.

Your live room is expected to represent a genuine live performance rather than previously recorded footage being presented to viewers as though it's happening in real time.

Why does Stripchat prohibit prerecorded broadcasts?

Stripchat classifies prerecorded broadcasts presented as live content as dishonest or misleading behavior.

Its Community Guidelines include this alongside other prohibited deceptive activity such as:

• Fake tipping
• Fake interactive toys
• Impersonating Stripchat staff
• Taking payments outside Stripchat

Can I upload prerecorded videos to my profile?

Yes.

The restriction on prerecorded broadcasts doesn't mean you can't create video content.

Stripchat supports uploaded video content and video albums, including eligible paid videos. See the rules on prerecorded videos.

The distinction is whether a viewer is knowingly watching uploaded content or is being led to believe a recording is a live broadcast.
