What Documents Do I Need for Stripchat Verification?
To create a Stripchat model account, you'll need to verify that you're 18 or older and confirm your identity using a valid identity document.
Stripchat uses Jumio for its standard identity verification process. The documents you can use may vary depending on your country.
What ID can I use to verify my Stripchat account?
During verification with Jumio, you'll be shown the identity documents available for your country. These can include:
- Driving licence
- Identity card
- Residence card or permit
- Passport
- Visa
You should choose from the document types displayed to you during verification.
Whichever document you use must be valid and up to date, and the information and photograph on it must be clearly visible.
What will I need during verification?
Have your original identity document with you before starting.
Jumio will guide you through the verification process and ask you to capture your identity document and complete a live facial verification to confirm that you are the person shown on the document.
Follow the instructions shown on screen when capturing your document and face.
What if my Stripchat verification fails?
If you're unable to complete the standard verification successfully, Stripchat will ask you to provide documents for manual verification.
You'll need to select your ID issuing country and one of the ID types Stripchat makes available for that country.
For example, Stripchat currently offers the following options for documents issued in the United States:
- Driver's licence
- Identity card
- Passport
- Residence permit
The options may be different for other countries.
For manual verification, Stripchat may ask you to provide:
- 1.A clear, colour image of your identity document, including both sides where applicable.
- 2.A clear, colour photo of you holding your ID next to your face, together with a piece of paper showing the current date and your Stripchat username handwritten on it.
Make sure your document is valid, all information is clearly readable and any images you provide are clear and in colour.
How long does Stripchat verification take?
Stripchat advises allowing up to 24 hours for verification to be reviewed, although accounts are often approved sooner.
You'll receive a notification once your verification has been approved or rejected. You can also check its status from the Documents section of your Stripchat account.
If your documents are rejected, check the rejection reason before trying again. See What to Do if Your Stripchat Documents Are Rejected for more information.
