Set a minimum duration for SkyPrivate paid calls
SkyPrivate provides a minimum-call-duration setting for pay-per-minute sessions. It is intended to establish a minimum charge for qualifying calls, but exceptions mean it is not an unconditional earnings guarantee.
Change the setting
- 1.Open Settings → Price.
- 2.Find Select minimum call duration.
- 3.Choose the duration you want; the documented default is one minute.
- 4.Save the change.
Members can see the minimum-duration information when opening the chat service and at the start of a pay-per-minute call. Explain the setting before the session if it affects the agreement.
Allow for the exceptions
SkyPrivate says the minimum does not apply to:
- Calls with members who had called you before April 11, 2024.
- Calls lasting less than 40 seconds.
Tips sent during a call can also reduce the remaining balance available to cover compensation for unused minimum time. If the balance is insufficient, that compensation can be limited to the funds left.
Use the actual call and payment history when checking a result. Ask support to explain a disputed charge using the specific call record rather than assuming the configured minimum guarantees the same result for every session.
