Link the correct Discord account to SkyPrivate
SkyPrivate needs your Discord account identity to recognize your service. A display name or nickname is not always your Discord username.
Copy your username
Open Discord's user settings and locate your account username. Copy it exactly, including any punctuation. Do not substitute a server nickname or another person's contact name for you.
In SkyPrivate, open Settings → Services, select Discord, and save that username. Add the numerical Discord user ID if the connection asks for it.
Connect the plugin
- 1.Open the desktop plugin and sign in using your SkyPrivate email and password.
- 2.Choose Link Discord.
- 3.Complete the connection with the same Discord account you saved in the service settings.
- 4.Check the plugin's connection status before accepting a paid call.
If the service remains unconfigured, compare the saved username with the account currently open in Discord. A recent username change or a second Discord account can cause a mismatch.
Your SkyPrivate login and Discord login serve different purposes. Use each only in the appropriate official login window, and never send either password to a member.
