Use OBS as your camera in SkyPrivate Chat
SkyPrivate Chat can receive your OBS scene through OBS Virtual Camera. This route uses the chat's camera selector rather than an RTMP stream key.
Connect OBS to the call
- 1.Build your scene in OBS and confirm that the intended camera or other approved source is visible.
- 2.Click Start Virtual Camera in OBS.
- 3.Open SkyPrivate Chat in your browser and enter the call.
- 4.Open the call settings and choose the OBS virtual camera as your camera source.
- 5.Check your microphone and speaker choices separately.
A virtual-camera picture does not confirm that the correct microphone is selected. Keep the OBS output running for as long as you want that scene to appear in the call.
If the camera is missing
Confirm that the virtual camera is started, check browser camera permissions, and reopen the camera selector. If another virtual-camera application is used instead, it must expose a camera source the browser can recognize.
SkyPrivate prohibits streaming on another website at the same time as a SkyPrivate session. A virtual camera does not override that rule.
