IWantClips documentation for North Carolina creators

IWantClips has a specific documentation workflow for creators covered by its North Carolina requirements. Use the current forms linked from the platform's compliance instructions rather than a saved copy from an older request.

Existing content and new content

The platform requests two types of document: a Consent for Sex Form and a Consent for Distribution Form. It separates these into an existing-content set and a new-content set. Obtain the current RightSignature links through the platform; contact support if the expected email has not arrived.

Read each form before signing. The platform describes the new-content form set as a one-time submission, but every new upload also needs a complete list of its depicted activities in the uploader. These are separate steps.

Existing content can be hidden in Pending status until the required forms are received. If you have moved out of North Carolina, update your payout address and contact support.

Where another performer appears in existing content, that performer must complete their own required forms. Do not sign another person's consent on their behalf.

New uploads with featured performers

The platform's policy says North Carolina Artists cannot publish new content featuring additional performers from December 1, 2025. Treat this as an IWantClips publishing restriction; an approved performer profile does not remove it.

Check with support if your residency or a content item's status makes the applicable workflow unclear.

Forms and consent are different checks

North Carolina's statute addresses adult identity and written consent to the relevant activities and distribution of specific images. Completing a platform form should not be treated as blanket permission for every future recording or release.

Keep the required records and obtain the actual performer consent needed for each production and distribution. This article explains the platform workflow, not the full legal obligations that may apply to a particular creator or recording.
