How to use IWantClips promotional widgets

IWantClips provides widgets that let you promote supported store features outside the dashboard. Choose the widget that matches the action you want a visitor to take.

Pick the right feature

The available options include content promotion, tips, phone availability, and a custom-order form.

The tip widget supports preset amounts and a custom-amount field. Its published minimum tip amount is $5. Check the displayed choices before embedding it so they fit the way you describe the offer.

A phone widget can show service status, including availability and busy states. Keep the underlying phone settings accurate rather than relying on the widget text to override them.

For a custom-order form, use the widget option in the custom-order area. Configure the available lengths, prices, extras, and delivery options before promoting that form.

Install and check

Copy the widget or link information supplied by the dashboard and use it in a destination that supports it and permits the relevant promotion.

Open the finished page as a visitor and check that the widget loads, identifies the correct store, and leads to the intended feature. A saved code snippet is not proof that the destination site accepts embedded content.

Keep promotions current

When you pause custom orders, change phone availability, or update your catalog, check the promoted experience too. Do not leave surrounding page text promising a service that is no longer available, even if the widget itself has updated.
