How to open an IWantClips Artist account

Choose an Artist account when you want a store for your own creator identity. A Studio account is a different setup for managing stores and should not be selected simply because you plan to publish several types of content.

Prepare your application

You must be an adult and complete the platform's identity and agreement requirements. Have a valid government-issued photo ID ready, and use your own accurate details in the verification process.

Complete the Store Operator Agreement through the registration workflow. Your public stage name and the private information used to verify your identity serve different purposes; a stage name does not replace legal account details.

Get the store ready for activation

IWantClips requires more than an approved identity document. Its Artist sign-up guidance also calls for:

  • A profile photo.
  • A featured photo.
  • At least five content items.

Prepare material that follows the platform's publishing and performer-verification rules. Having five files ready does not make unapproved material eligible for sale.

Submit the required information and check for follow-up requests. The platform describes a typical review turnaround, but activation depends on completing the requirements and passing review. Do not announce a guaranteed opening time before approval arrives.

If registration stalls, check which requirement remains incomplete before creating another account or resubmitting the same documents.
