Should you use an Artist or Studio account on IWantClips?
An Artist account is the standard option for a creator operating a store under their own performer identity. A Studio account is designed to organize and manage stores through a studio structure.
The distinction affects administration and payments. It is more than a different public label.
Artist accounts
An Artist account gives a creator the dashboard used to manage their store, content, services, and account information. Follow the Artist registration process when opening your own individual creator store.
Offering clips, custom orders, and connected phone services does not by itself mean you need a Studio account.
Stores managed through a studio
A studio arrangement can place store management and payouts under the studio account. A performer should not assume that a studio-managed store has the same independent payment access as a standalone Artist account.
Before joining an arrangement, establish who controls the store, who receives platform payments, and how the studio pays you. Platform revenue-share percentages do not establish the terms of a separate studio or FLASH agreement. If you join the FLASH studio, follow the steps to connect IWantClips to FLASH and confirm how your account arrangement affects payments.
Public names and account changes
The platform describes studio-owner information and public store identities separately. That distinction is not a general guarantee of anonymity in every situation.
If you need to move an existing store or change its account arrangement, ask IWantClips support what is possible for that store. Avoid opening a replacement account on the assumption that its history, balance, or purchased content will transfer automatically.
