Protect your personal information while broadcasting
A creator identity can help separate your public work from your personal life. Check the information visible across your room, uploaded content, and linked accounts—not just your Chaturbate username.
Review what viewers can see
Before going live, look for documents, delivery labels, reflections, screens, recognizable landmarks, or other details that could reveal your identity or location. Check prerecorded uploads and thumbnails with the same care.
Keep personal social accounts separate from creator accounts where practical. Shared usernames, profile photos, contact details, and public friend connections can link them together.
Review wishlist and social links before posting them. A link may reveal a recipient name or location through the destination service even if your Chaturbate bio does not include it.
Use platform controls with realistic expectations
Location blocking can restrict access based on IP location, but it is not a guarantee that someone nearby cannot see your room. Country visibility in discovery filters is a separate choice from blocking access.
Avoid sending identity documents through chat or to people claiming to offer account help. Use the official verification and support processes for sensitive account matters.
Respect other people's privacy too
Do not publish or request private identifying information about another community member. If someone threatens to expose your information, preserve the relevant messages and report the situation through Chaturbate's official support channels.
