How to Use Apps and Bots on Chaturbate

Open Broadcast Yourself → Apps to find the App Directory. Apps can provide tip menus, goals, notices, games, and moderation tools.

Choose and manage an app

Search or browse by function, read the description, and configure the selected app before relying on it during a show. The directory provides start, stop, favorite, and review controls.

Chaturbate lists room limits of ten V2 apps and six V1 legacy apps/bots running simultaneously. A slot limit is not a reason to enable tools you do not need.

V2 and legacy differences

V2 apps can keep running between broadcasts, apply setting changes without a restart, and preserve data such as leaderboards. They can also populate the broadcast panel. Legacy apps commonly need restarting and may lose session data when the show ends.

Look for version labels and icons in the directory rather than assuming similarly named apps behave identically.

Test the combined setup

Check whether multiple apps respond to the same tip or publish overlapping notices. Explain any charge or goal clearly to viewers, and follow platform rules even if an app allows a particular configuration. A community-created app is not an exemption from the Code of Conduct.
