Enable SMS verification for your CAM4 account
CAM4 offers SMS verification as an additional account-security control. Use your own phone number and keep access to it while the feature is enabled.
Set it up
- 1.Sign in and open My Account → Account Settings → Security.
- 2.Find SMS Verification.
- 3.Select the country code and enter your mobile number.
- 4.Submit and enter the code sent to the phone.
- 5.Check that the setup is confirmed.
Enter a code only in the official account action you initiated. Never send it to a viewer, moderator, or unsolicited support contact.
Disable it only intentionally
The documented process uses the SMS control's off position, a confirmation prompt, and a further code to complete disabling.
Do not turn protection off simply because a stranger says it is preventing a tip or payout. Verify a genuine account problem through official support.
If the phone number changes or becomes unavailable, resolve access through CAM4 rather than assuming another person can receive the code for you. SMS setup is also separate from choosing the notification channels for offline private-show requests.
