Review your CAM4 account privacy choices

CAM4's privacy options cover several different uses of information. Do not treat every switch as the same kind of optional marketing preference.

Find the settings

Open My Account → Account Settings → Privacy. Read each choice and the current warning before changing it, then save the selections you intend.

The documented controls include offers and promotions, publishing on partner sources, cookies, broadcasting-related information, and processing of special categories of personal data.

Understand the effects

Allow publishing on other sources concerns display through partner sites. It is different from your own choice to submit a purchased video to the separate tube-content program.

Marketing choices should not be confused with processing CAM4 says is necessary to provide the service. Its help page warns that withdrawing required permissions can lead to deletion of associated data that cannot be recovered.
