Understand room bans and site bans on CAM4
A room ban restricts access to a particular broadcaster's room. A site ban is enforced by CAM4 administrators for account or policy violations.
What creators control
You can remove disruptive viewers or appoint a moderator to help. Spam, abuse, threats, or attempts to record a show without permission can be reasons to restrict someone in your room.
Use your room's Manage bans controls to remove an appropriate room restriction. Those controls do not reverse a platform account ban.
What can trigger site enforcement
CAM4's broadcaster policy identifies issues including off-platform payments, non-live performances, minors on camera, illegal activity, prohibited drug activity, and fraud. Its full content rules apply alongside that summary.
A viewer's request or payment does not make a prohibited activity acceptable. Stop the interaction and contact support when needed.
If CAM4 restricts your account
Read the actual notice and contact official support with the account and incident details. Do not assume the room's unban button applies or that creating another account resolves the restriction.
No moderator or outside contact can promise to overturn a platform decision in exchange for money or your password.
