Check the rules before broadcasting outdoors on CAM4
CAM4 allows some outdoor broadcasts, but its normal content and participant restrictions still apply. Platform permission does not determine whether a location or activity is lawful where you are.
Choose the location carefully
CAM4 prohibits showing minors and people who do not know they are on the platform. Choose a location where you can control who enters the camera view and stop if that changes.
Its policy prohibits broadcasts inside retail stores, markets, and grocery stores, or locations such as churches, schools, playgrounds, hospitals, and graveyards.
A car broadcast must take place while the vehicle is parked. Do not use a live show as a reason to handle a camera or interact with chat while driving.
Check more than the picture
Look for identifying signs, private property, and unintended reflections. Make sure your connection and camera position are stable before going live.
Follow CAM4's full current outdoor rules and any applicable local or property restrictions. An example location in a promotional article is not blanket permission to broadcast there.
If another person enters unexpectedly, interrupt the broadcast rather than waiting to see whether viewers notice. End the stream through the actual broadcast control and confirm it has stopped before leaving the device.
