Protect your personal information on CAM4
Review what your profile, devices, and background reveal before broadcasting. Privacy settings work best alongside careful separation of your creator and personal identities.
Separate public and personal accounts
Use a creator email address and social profiles that do not display your legal name, personal address, or unintended location information. A separate browser profile or browser can help reduce account mix-ups.
Review social location-sharing settings and the information exposed by wish lists, delivery options, or a personal website. Do not assume a private delivery address or domain registration is hidden without checking the actual service's settings.
Check the broadcast environment
Look for visible mail, identity documents, windows, reflections, and screen notifications. If you take a personal phone call, mute the broadcast microphone or move the call away from it.
A hidden face or blocked region does not guarantee anonymity. Viewers may still recognize a voice, background, username, or information shared in conversation.
Keep controls current
Review CAM4's region-blocking and account privacy settings, especially after changing devices or public profiles. Use only the details you intend to make public and avoid promising that any single setting prevents recording or reposting.
