How to Block and Unblock Members on AdultWork
Use Blocked Senders to manage unwanted AdultWork emails and booking requests. You can block someone from an existing message or add them by nickname if they have not contacted you yet.
Blocking emails does not necessarily prevent the member from sending them. AdultWork says you will stop receiving notifications and can choose whether their messages are deleted.
Block someone from a message
- 1.Log in and open your AdultWork Emails page.
- 2.Find an email from the member you want to block.
- 3.Open the three-dot menu beside the message and select Block Sender.
- 4.Complete the options shown, including the reason and how their messages should be handled.
Some AdultWork pages also show Block Sender when you open an email or booking directly.
Block a member by nickname
You do not need to wait for a message if you already know the member's nickname.
- 1.Open Emails and go to Blocked Senders.
- 2.Choose Add by Nickname.
- 3.Enter the member's nickname and complete the block.
Check the nickname carefully so you select the intended account.
Stop booking requests
Open the Blocked Senders tab from your Emails page to manage blocks on booking requests. AdultWork lists this control for escort, webcam, and phone chat bookings.
Do not assume an email block covers every form of contact. These instructions concern emails and booking requests; DirectCam has separate room controls, and AdultWork says individual DirectChat callers cannot be blocked.
View or unblock a member
Open Emails → Blocked Senders to review your list. Select Unblock beside the member you want to remove.
If the block window does not open, check whether your browser has blocked a pop-up. AdultWork's guidance recommends allowing pop-ups for AdultWork when using this feature.
Is the Blacklist the same thing?
No. AdultWork's Blacklist removes selected members from searches you perform using the main search page. It is a search filter, so do not use it as a substitute for Blocked Senders.
You can add someone using Add to Blacklist on their profile. To undo that search filter, open the Blacklist management page and select Remove beside their name.
